Good morning all

Sorry I've been a slacker! It's been a busy few weeks...and the son and I took the day off yesterday to go be silly at DisneyWorld (the joys of Florida resident annual passes). They're doing some construction, so we missed our usual spin in the teacups, but still had fun on Splash Mountain, Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean and all our usual favorites.

Closing on the house Thursday at noon

...right after my doctor appointment and pap smear

I think I'll be having a glass of wine before bed on Thursday for sure

Here's a nice thing to pass on to all of your patients in the future...Scoote and I both had to have bloodwork last week. I took an old nurse's advice and drank lots of water beforehand, and it went off without a hitch. Scoote didn't, and even with the same phlebotomist she ended up with a bruise (after the woman tried both arms). It's an easy thing to do, and sure seems to make a difference!

I'm heading out (as soon as I wake up the Prince) on a shopping trip with the boys. Probably lunch out somewhere first, and then off to buy new bedding for their new beds, shower curtains and stuff for the bathrooms, etc. The kitties are lobbying for treats and a fresh catnip mouse also...
