This weekend, I am especially grateful for/to:

1) My parents for giving me a ride both to and from Portland
2) Candace & Kassi for giving me a place to stay Friday night
3) June & Kat for giving me a place to stay Saturday night
4) Sarah for planning a kick-ass butch-femme social Saturday evening and for taking me with her to explore and exercise on Mt. Tabor this morning

It was a good weekend and it wouldn't have been half as wonderful if these friends and family members had not extended their kindness towards me.

I am blessed!

~I am grateful that my cough is FINALLY on its way out!!! (I've been sick since the Monday, Oct. 12th!!!! )

~I am grateful to have a peaceful & peace-filled home.

~I am grateful for the upcoming convergence of 30+ Chosen Family Members upon my home.....which will make it NOT so peace-filled, but peaceful all the same!

~I am grateful for today's gentle rain. It put me in the mood to rest up.

Today I am grateful for...

The NHS (the free health care system here in the UK). It's not perfect but when I hear some of the horror stories about what goes on in other countries, the US included, it makes me realize how lucky we actually are.

My own little place
My BFF Cai coming in from Ft Worth to assist me
My cats adjusting and blooming within hours of their arrival
Wine and relaxation after moving
A good friend to live with for the past year
Did I mention a little place of my own?
