Thanks! I am really hoping that learning the guitar will help me with my songs. Its so hard to do anything with them with just voice. Guitar will make me more... marketable.

so you're a song writer? I sing silly made up songs to my dog. I guess she is the one that inspires me right now. I've always wanted to write a song for a special woman in my life but at the moment there is not one who could provide the inspiration. But when she shows up, I hope her name rhymes with some good words

I think that everyone who is alone on Thanksgiving should meet up in the chat room at the same time so at least we can talk to each other for awhile.We can feel like family..... just sayin,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Sometimes it is better to be alone then to feel uncomfortable with your family. I know it does sound awful. If families were not so hard on each other I am sure there would be more harmony.

My Dad left when I was 12 years old. My Mom always would set a place for him at the table. I would ask her why she did it and that I knew Dad would not come. She said he may surprise us one day. If not, he will be here in spirit. Dad never did make it all those years. Oh well I am sure he feels the guilt now that he is much older. You can never get time back.

If your wondering why I am up soooo late. I had another alarm call to the building. It is hard to settle down right away. I am also getting over a cold. My nose is running like a faucet.

I have a really good feeling that the singles on this list might not be single for long. Just a gut feeling. I hope it comes true.

This is a good question...I've noticed it too. Maybe their are more single butches out there but they just don't come to this thread...which is their loss since we have a good time here

I think its a good idea for those of us who will be alone for Thanksgiving for whatever reason meet up in the chatroom at a certain time.

I hope that your gut feeling that those of us here won't be single much longer comes true. I honestly would miss everyone here but it would be awesome to see them partnered. I also hope it comes true...that would be fantastic!!!

Good Morning Singles! Happy Saturday!! This morning was another morning where I woke up at 5:15. The cats are loving it because it means they get fed earlier. Yesterday I started coming down with the flu Today I'm not going to do anything, just take it easy. Whatever you all do today, I hope you have fun!!!

.welll its a cheerios kinda morning here........ just north of Indy

im heading to Pa in a lil bit here. been feeling kinda gloomy this morning..to the point of i dont know if i want to cry or pout all day.. i dont know why ..... could use some cheering up i guess of some sort.. .. but not sure how.
ill be driving for most the day..... soooooo wont be on here till later.

Good Morning Singles hope those that are sick are on the mend and resting up. I just got my flu shot this past week and that knocked me for a loop, side effects I guess!! Yes those of us that are alone should meet up in the chat room on Thanksgiving day or evening that would be nice. I will cook for us some turkey and dressing and pie! Going to get ready for the day whatever that entails I don't know which means nothing because there is nothing to do in NJ!!

I am a songwriter. It has never been a priority in my life until recently. Something I loved, but I never believed could go anywhere. I happened to meet someone a few years ago that has become a dear friend... and... is pushing me with my music. She is a producer... and for some reason, thinks I'm a musician worth prodding and pampering. We shall see.

I'm sorry about your Thanksgivings in the past, I know that had to hurt, hopefully we can help provide some good happy memories in the future.

Now as to your feeling ... Honey, let's hope so ... I like me just fine, but I really do love being part of a couple. I love having someone to love. I'm good as a couple and hope to have that again, and soon.

Have to bring my old cat in for his kidney blood work. Always get a little upset even though I do this every 3 months with him and know he will eventually leave me due to kidney failure. I think this time, I will be starting to give him sub-q fluids every day instead of every other depending on the results. He has started to drink a lot more, again. But, he is also still his sassy self in many ways.
