Hi Everybody,
I too have had a vitamin D deficiency. I now take mega doses daily. In my experience, using a tanning bed for 10 minutes a couple times a week also really helps. I can see a measurable difference in my moods and physical pain levels. That was a good article posted at the beginning of the thread. Thanks for sharing.

Over the weekend I made the leap into the unknown...I bought a bottle of D3 5000 iu at Sam's - 400 for just under $10. My doctor charges me $14 for 60 of the same strength. He switched brands earlier this year and I noticed that familiar pain has been slowly creeping back. I decided to try this brand to see what, if anything, happens. These are liqui-gels...started them yesterday, let's see what, if anything, happens.

![]() I want to save others from the heartbreak of loosing someone to skin cancer like I did with the loss of my sister. This is in response to an earlier post about someone not wanting to use sunscreen while outside. Let me state that I was the last person on earth to wear suntan lotion. I was always going for the nice looking tan. I tan very easily, and it stays with me thru the fall. In fact, I get complimented on it by doctors. Not any longer. Suntaning is great, but I do believe now in lathering up with suntan lotion. So many different cancers are now coming out, and just don't have cures. Sure there are clinical trials with experimental drugs and trials. But people still die. With sun exposure and repeated sunburns - this speeds up the aging of your skin. Listed below is what happens: - skin gets thinner - deep wrinkles - dry skin - fine red veins that show up on your face esp. your nose, cheeks, and ears - freckles - liver spots - skin cancer (mild to melanoma) - cataracts in your eyes (wear sunglasses while driving, boating, on the beach, and just being outside in general) *also now there is lotions and makeups being made with sunscreen in them that I strongly would recommend using Happy Thanksgiving to all. Best regards, Andrew |

I am so happy that my rheumatologist uses both western and eastern thought in her practice. Vitamin D does help with chronic pain management. also, is key for our body being able to fully assimilate calcium. |

I had gotten to the point where I was having a lot of symptoms, but couldn't really pinpoint what was causing it, so off to the doctor. After numerous tests: D, B12, Thyroid, magnesium and hormones, all came back deficient. My body will not process the b12 so I take 2 of the sublinguals. I also take 5,000 of D3, 2 Fish oils, a probiotic, 2 magnesium at night and 1 in morning, and last but not least my pharmacist compounds a hormone cream tailored specifically to my test results.
So far, so good.

Ran across a interesting bit of info on the Budwig Diet for curing cancer. Kinda hard to gets through with my phone, but thought I would share it with you all.
So many of us need health advice, maybe this info can help in some small way. Dr. Budwig has her books available on Amazon. Just Google Budwig Diet. |
