Beavers (the furry animals) eat wood pulp. But, their bodies cannot get the nutrients from it when they first eat it - so - they eat it again after they pooh it out. Somehow they know the difference because as soon as they pooh it out the second time they immediately use it to plug holes in the dam. Beavers are also little clean freaks and spend most of the their time in their den cleaning their den and themselves. They are also very family orientated and will welcome family members back into the den even if they come back a mate.

I once watched a discovery channel docu where they showed a fox pick up a stick and take it in the water. The fox swam around and around carrying the stick. Slowly the fox went further and further under the water. It let go of the stick and sunk just enough so that only the tip of her nose was pushing the stick around. Then it pushed the stick away and swam back to the shore. It took the scientists a little while to figure out that the fox had fleas and as she swam around they were forced to move to higher ground - on her head and eventually her nose and finally onto the stick. I thought that was sooooo cool!!!!!!!
