Good Afternoon Everyone,

I am having a wonderful day. I treated myself to a Greek salad for lunch and I am thinking of stopping by the grocery store and pick up a small birthday cake.

Have fun and I am leaving you all coffee and tea.

Yay for coffee and cake!! how was the Greek Salad?? sounds yummy and good going on the cake for yourself you deserve it!!

It was very good, but I couldn't eat all of it, so I brought half of it home with me.

Did it have kalamata olives and feta cheese in it that is a true greek salad for sure I hope so...you could have the rest for dinner and then have your cake for dessert!!

It had jalapeno peppers, feta cheese, Kalamato olives, ham and Genoa salami.

I gave it to my stepdad, I won't eat the rest of it.

I am thinking of making Chicken Marsala for dinner and having cake for dessert.

So Florida has all kinds of ethnic food down there huh?? That is good to know for the future..we have everything here in NJ/NY Greek and Italian thai you name it..did you get your cake from the store?? I wish I had some cake to eat, could go for a cake or something sweet!! Its getting late and I'm getting tired, but the dog found a way to get outside in the backyard maybe I can get out there and shovel a path for him poor fellas!! The snow is still on the streets for a while too..Ok going to find something sweet to eat be back later..

That salad sounds great.. I am a huge fan of antipasto.. which is similar in some way to a greek salad..

A shame you got home to late to make the Chicken Marsala.. however, there is always tomorrow evening.. smiles.

I think given it is the Day of your Birth.. you should just eat cake all night.. and call it dinner.. and then have it again tomorrow morning for breakfast.. grins.. with some french pressed goodness.. yes?

That sounds very good! French pressed coffee sounds even better than dinner. I'm having a Healthy Choice TV dinner and I'm headed up to the grocery store to get a cake.
