I always liked my 1963 kitchen.....even in the beginning, when it was heinous with it's 2-of-4-burners-working-electrical cooktop and an oven that ran 100-degrees too hot. Even with the brown sink and a black dishwasher and gold and white formica.

But today......I'm in LOVE with my kitchen! Slowly but surely, it's turning into a really neat place to bake & cook!

Just starting to get the dinner ready and checked my email got one rejection from a job in Austin that sucks I really want to move to Austin and live there or Florida whatever comes first well I keep on trying...

Once every few years my (otherwise ineffectual) BFA in Costume Design comes in handy...I have just pulled together a Mad Men-esque ensem from my wardrobe in ten minutes; replete with a fake snake skin handbag and little white scallop-edged gloves circa 1961 previously owned by my Grama.
