There are several Native American Radio Networks for those that want to connect in real time. This is from Native America Calling. They have progressive topics, with call in ( Native American mostly) audiences from all over America. Such a different "feel" when you listen to the community talk among themselves. I love it! I thought this looked like a fun program.
http://www.nativeamericacalling.com/ Tuesday, January 18, 2011: Win Johnny Depp!: Rumors are circulating that a new movie will soon be made about "The Lone Ranger and Tonto," and that Johnny Depp is slated to play Tonto. These rumors also proclaim that in order to prepare for his role as Tonto, Depp plans to live on a yet-to-be-determined Indian reservation. So, what would you do in order to convince Johnny Depp to come to your reservation? What day-to-day experiences and cultural practices should Depp go through in order to really get the hang of being Tonto? Guests include members of the 1491's Comedy Group: Dallas Goldtooth (Santee Dakota/Dińe), Ryan Red Corn (Osage), and Bobby Wilson (Sisseton Dakota). There is also National Native News Listen online at www.nativenews.net And another favorite is Airos, they plays a lot of music as well: http://www.airos.org/
