both of my son's and my daughter in law took me out to dinner tonight for my birthday,

had a really nice time, and none of the wait staff sang to me!

- feeling proud of myself, for so many reasons.. it gets overwhelming..
- nice, long, hot, relaxing shower..
- some 'me' time to sit and read, with everything quiet around me..
- a surprise phonecall from my sweet, adorable Nanny G.
- having a small scoop of potato salad, cuz it looked so darn good..
- getting some organizing done today, before heading off to work!

A conversation with an 8 yr old boy (a family member)the other day at Wal Mart. We were discussing school and then out of the blue he asked "When kids get to third grade is that when they get periods?" Me, "Ah Nick I am not sure what you are asking?" I was not going there. He said, "thats when we have to start changing classes right?"
