Light a candle

a friend i work with , has diabetes..
she has been through hell & back since November, being hospitalized numerous times, and then losing her toe.. she was told at the end of December she would probably lose her foot, and was so scared and sad through the holidays..

we just got word that she will actually be amputated from just below the knee now, =(

please keep Debi in your thoughts & prayers, ♥

My thoughts and prayers are with our soldiers, vets, those in need, and those who are sick, poor, and grieving. I also pray for our police officers and firemen/women. And for all of those who are here.

Candles of hope......
for someone I've loved since I was 9, who is beginning a life sentence in prison.
and I leave candles for his victim, Richard S. and his family.
words just fail me right now, and all I know to do is light a candle.

A short update on R

Her white blood cell counts were too low for her to have her chemo session, so she'll have to go back again next Thursday
In the meantime, she has daily shots she must give herself to build the counts back up. She also has 2 pain meds to help her deal with the pain shes had. Last night was a very bad night for her. Starbuck stayed on the phone with her until she felt better as I was exhausted from the last 2 days of little sleep. R said I did however, wake up ask her a question about how she was feeling and went right back to sleep. Starbuck is much better equipped to take care of her than I as she's a retired RN.

Please keep the prayers from our circle of faith and hope coming, thanks

My devotional candles are burning bright. I have used up all of my incense that I will be replacing. My thoughts and prayers are with the sick, poor, needy, grieving, soldiers fighting for our freedoms, the hopeless, the homeless, those who feel unloved.
