Explains Malcolm's mother: "To teach the importance of improving the world around him, Malcolm was given $140 to give away to the charity of his choice. After hearing a story on the radio about the mistreatment of gays and lesbians, Malcolm became both upset and curious about the issue…to help, he chose to split his money between the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center and the Human Rights Campaign Foundation."

The appreciation I got for working today so that a kid didn't have to go into the hospital and her requests to come and see her more next week than our normally scheduled stuff. Kids make me smile more often than others do.

- spent my afternoon with Nanny G yesterday for her first real day at her new home at the Nursing Home where i work.. It was day one of my Vacation so knowing she was feeling lonely, went up and spent the afternoon with her - she is the sweetest lady on the face of this earth! ♥ & so happy that she's happily adjusting there so quickly! Proof this was the right move for her!
