Sending out wishes to the universe that the sick and injured are restored to health,
and that those with a heavy heart find peace and comfort. Whatever journey we are on as individuals,
the path can be tough to navigate at times. Wherever you are on your path,
try to remember there are others who may need a helping hand.

Our beautiful cat Petunia was diagnosed with cancer on Monday. She is starting Chemotherapy today. I'm going to be blogging about her progress. I'd love if you could send some light our way. She really could use it, our whole family could.

Asking for prayers and light. My sister's memorial service is Saturday afternoon. I am mute ... I cannot write a thing to say. Hard when one is the poet in the family. My feelings are blunted. There are so many things that's happened all at once. If I think about it, if it were happening to another person, I would say that they were overwhelmed ... but being overwhelmed somehow does not fit "me." Who knows what the heck I'm talking about ... I don't. Just light a candle for me, please.

A candle lit for myself tonight... today is a rough day.
i pray for strength, for hope, for patience, for faith....
praying to learn to forgive, and not to forget.... that i once was loved.
