Resolutions/Goals/Plans for 2010

With the New Year and new decade upon us, I was curious if you had any resolutions/goals or plans to make 2010 your year (so to speak).

For me, my goals are:

- Renewing my blogs activity
- Continuing to pay off debt and find ways to fund top surgery
- Move to Los Angeles
- Renew visa or get green card
- self-teach myself PowerShell (scripting language)
- update PHP, MySQL and AJAX skills.

My goal this year is to put crick's in peoples necks, make forehead veins pop, and demand more lobster, armadillo cake, and lemon cake. Oh. And I want one of DaddyJunes golden eggs and Snowy's presence in my living room.

I'd like to smile more as I test the patience of my Beloved.

I would like to watch the movie Canadian Bacon seventeen times.

I may or may not want to kidnap Ms. Jay from America's Most Obsolete Model.

I'd like to find things to obsess on other than tamales, sports bras, blankies and invisible people on the freeway.

Ok, that was all in fun. I kind of REALLY want to make it to 2011 and am willing to bribe, beg, borrow, steal or sell my soul to do so. OR get that potion from the movie "Death Becomes Her".

I NEED a kettle from Jack with a specific effigy in lieu of cotton ballz.

I want to be the very best fake baby girl I can be and am willing to wear rhumba panties for the entire year. Sippy cups are coolio if filled with lemon drop martini's.

In 2010 I am going to
lose more weight,lost 42 in 09.
Hopefully I can get my back injury improved if not fixed.
Keep my life on track by staying healthy and keep in out the drama and nut cases out of it.
Just enjoy life more,maybe I will get lucky and have someone in it to share things with.
Travel somewhere and see whats out in the world.
Start a bucket list.

I plan on continuing my diet...i want to drop 80 pounds....already got rid of 93..When I quit smoking...i gained a little weight (150 pounds)

I plan on accepting new employment at a location as of yet unknown...

I am going to build a pond in my front yard this year, and finish closing in the sunroom, and screening front porch on the cardboard box....i also promised the wife i would make a nice big area in the yard for us to display her gnomes....since many are retired we will call it the "Old gnome home"

and on march 9 I am going to help deliver my 2nd grandaughter and just hold her close and love her....

Everything else cept the last one...wont faze me at all if i dont get it accomplished ;
but the last one....

(she will have a much deeper richer beautiful hue than the smilie)

For the next year ( or twelve) I intend to keep removing obstacles that darken my spirit.
Socially, I will reach out to more folks, both in my queer community and my local community, through volunteer work, etc. I have already made a contact with a local Girl Scout Troop who is doing some outreach for kids with need ( real basic essential needs like food on weekends where school lunch programs are not available). I will follow up and volunteer in anyway that will help make a difference.

Physically, I will work to improve my respiratory issues which will help me be around more fully for my wife, my family and improve the quality of my life. The elliptical is my friend. The elliptical is my friend. ( even though it whoops my ass even doing one minute.... this will improve!)

Emotionally, I will continue embracing who I am beyond any/ all preconceived notions of whom I should be. I have been making great strides here and the journey is ever present and on going.

Mentally, I will engage the brain with more reading and discourse. This site has given me some great book titles and interesting articles for brain candy. It is much appreciated!

Spiritually, if I am able to fulfill the above, I think my contact with a higher being will become more constant. I will begin re-introducing some yoga to my daily routine to help not only physically, but spiritually as well.
