What's Happening in Austin

Ashton is doing better from what I last hear from Wil today. He's out of the ICU and moved to a normal room. I think he also said his breathing is better. I'm sure Pup and Oiler will let you know more because they went to see him today. Me and Gemme are going tomorrow.

Yep, we got to visit Ash for a bit today - he's doing well enough that he could be could be a smarty pants.

He may be able to move out of the ICU tomorrow.

The most healing thing is seeing how many people love and care about him. If you want to send a card,thoughts, wishes etc, PM me for the address. I know it would mean a lot to him.

As soon as he's out of ICU, he can have as many visitors as the hospital can hold! Bring cards and poker money.

i'll be taking ash's laptop up to him today. i'll bet he'll be online soon-ish.

yes, cards letters cash would be good. he loved the collage pic. thank you everyone for sending images along for that. i think he forgets how many folks out here love him and are in his corner. it's a shame it takes something like a hospital stay to remind him (or anyone).

To everyone who sneaked Nayru a snack (including me)...THANKS.

She got me up at 4 and then at 6 and then again at 8. Something didn't process well.

But we have to do this again. It was a lovely low-key evening.

I may be making a run to San Antonio to pick up a Basenji from the shelter there. He was to be euthanized this morning but we got him off that list. He may not be purebred, but he looks like he is. If he is or isn't, I'll foster him until we can find him a home. Pretty little tri-color boy.

Anyone off tomorrow who wants to go with? LOL
