There is a Mobil gas station at the corner of Sand Lake Road and the Orange Blossom Trail. I will meet you there around 2:30? The 528 is SR528 / Beeline. It is a toll road that takes you over to Cocoa Beach.

If you have any questions or need help with directions, please give me a call and I will meet you..

Scoote is a sweet person and didn't let me and Jo Jo do all of the talking..

Good Morning everyone Passover is almost upon us..we are getting ready to go to Queens today and kasher the pots and pans and utensils...then tomorrow make the turkey and other things that need to be made..I hope everyone has a safe flight going or coming from wherever and Scoote gets to feeling better with her back!! have a great day everyone..

afternoon everyone....Jo just left for the airport--she would rather be way early than a second late! thats my girl

i am now sitting watching The Blind Side(again)--Sandra Bullock is just awesome!

Jo sat us up pretty good b4 she left...she made a banana cake,lasagna(i have to put in oven later) and chicken and rice soup!..so the boys will have stuff they like for days,and i will not have to cook really!

its a beautiful day here again,tho it looks like it could rain.

Happy Easter everyone

We're actually celebrating next weekend when Rooster will be back home...so today was just your usual Sunday....tuna for the kitties, then out to breakfast and off to do some shopping. We got a new faucet for the kitchen sink, a pile of clothes at Old Navy (super cheap...Easter sales, discount coupon and freebies...yay!), a few groceries...and now back home to relax.

I may do some yard work later if I get ambitious...or maybe not!

Good morning everyone

The coffee pot is on...and I'm thinking that we all deserve Eggs Benedict and mimosas for breakfast...just because we made it through Monday!



I have my suitcase half unpacked (takes me awhile), but at least the laundry is done...and the email inbox cleared from my week away in AZ....so now I can get back to normal.

Any news on the job-hunting front Zimmy? You've been hard at it...something's bound to happen soon.

I think Jake may have gotten lost in the boxes from unpacking....should we send out a search party? I'd offer Shadow...he's got a great nose....but he'll be most successful if Jake happens to have some bacon in a pocket somewhere.

Rooster is still in NY....feels so weird to be here without him for so long. I know I have to get used to it, because summer is going to be an even longer stretch. Even weirder is knowing that the school year here is in the home stretch (maybe 6 weeks to go), and after that he'll be in high school.

Scoote and I assembled the first of two chaise lounges last night (and I managed to cuss less than last time). It's quite comfy, and I'm looking forward to getting the other one done as well (and the little table to go between them), so we can lounge poolside in comfort.

Good Morning Jo Jo,

Thank you for breakfast! I had three job interviews in two days and the manager for Teavana, really loved me and I am going to call her back today and thank her for interviewing me and see if I got the job. She put me on the sales floor to *sample to sell* and I was rusty at it, since the last time I had to do that was three years ago at Godiva. I asked the Campus President for DeVry if I could use him as a reference and he said yes and I also got another manager of mine from the library to write me a letter of recommendation and I can use her as a reference.

I cannot wait until the end of May when I get my own room, sleeping on the couch is horrible. Do you have an IKEA by you? I love their furniture and computer desks. Maybe when you all come up and we get together with Belle, maybe we can all hit the IKEA?

Have a good morning and I am off to apply for more jobs.

Good Afternoon Jo,

I will have to remember the bacon trick.. grins. Not lost, just crazy busy. Starting a new job.. moving into a new place.. and buying a new vehicle.. all in the past 2 weeks. So, I am having moments of not knowing if I am coming or going.. however, things are starting to settle now.. all moved in and unpacked. Job is going great.. and I am feeling really comfortable with it. Car is pretty cool too. laughs. Also been busy getting "pestered".. it is a good thing. grins.

I am glad you made it home safe and sound from Arizona. Gotta love scoote.. even when she is not feeling her best.. she keeps that fort held down. smiles.

We just had a crazy rain/thunder/lightning storm.. it would have been nice to enjoy it from My porch.. I will have to post some pics when I get some time.. the view of the lake is just phenomenal.

Once things get more settled.. I have also been looking at the Humane Society website here.. to adopt a cat/kitten.. there are two on there that are brother and sister.. I fell in love with one of them..and then read their story and realized he had a sibling.. I know if I go I will end up getting both..laughs.. just have to get My routine down and new digs all situated first. I miss having a pet. I also think a cat/kitten would go for that bacon trick as well..grins.
