Nods. Yep.. I am totally thinking that two cats is going to happen.. especially if they are siblings.. I do not want to separate them.. so we shall see what cats/kitties are available when I get settled and can go and see them.

Did you get the results of the MRI today? or is it tomorrow that happens? You NEED to seriously take it easy and not push yourself .. I made that mistake right after surgery and went back to work way to soon.. and I am sure it was a big mistake ... however, I am like you.. I can not stand to sit around or to have someone wait on Me, etc.

I would love to have you and Jo come visit.. and the view is just spectacular.. there is so much to do here during the Summer and Fall months.. right now we are getting yet another thunderstorm.. and to look out the picture window and see..the lightning flash across the sky.. just amazing..

I hope you and Jo are having a good night.. and try to take it easy on yourself.. and do not push.. as much as you want to.. it will only do you harm in the end.. especially when it comes to rehabilitating from the surgery if you have to have it.

Jake glad to hear ur getting settled in.. I get the results for my MRI tomorrow,and they are gonna make an appt with an ortho specialist...as much as i hate to say it i hope they dont release me till after i see the specialist bc even tho i can do a little,if i pushed it for more than an hr (depending on what im doing) then im down for 2-3 days after..would love to sit on that porch of urs with a drink while looking out over the lake--during a great storm would be even better

I couldn't see that poor puppy with his tongue hanging out when we passed him today. Your salad sounds declicous and I ended up having a turkey sandwich on five grain Italian bread for dinner with a little bit of linguine and sauce. Those pretzels were salty and something I won't have again. You are welcome and I still think that one guy, is a jerk for talking to us like we both had two heads on our shoulders.

Hope you liked the Kind bar that I gave you. The one I gave you, is my favorite. I think of it as an all natural candy bar.

Good Evening Kitcheneers....been a long,hot day here in south florida...however the sun setting brough a nice breeze so windows and doors open letting some fresh air in...

as for MRI--my understanding is the L3 and L4 are bulging and L5 is herniated and encroaching on the spinal sac she said i need a neurosurgeon and not an ortho because i have the pain,numbness and weakness that goes down both my legs..so until the neuro is seen i am off work and still told to take it easy since we dont know extent of damage yet

as for pushing myself...i try not to,but Jo has way too much on her plate as it is so i wanna help as much as possible....she is constantly threatening to smack me tho

Jake...that would be soooooo cool to watch a storm over a lake under cover of a porch....i loved it when i was younger

so i hope everyone is have a great week thus far and it only gets better as weekend draws near

yes, we have a love for animals in common! i've always been the one on the bus/in the car to say, Stop! we have to help the cat, dog, bird, et c. you did not even mind when i pulled over, got out and ran like half a mile [smile] to reach the kid and puppy. the boy was so appreciative of the water, and that anyone would actually stop. the kind bar is almost gone! one day, we can bake a bunch of goodies if you are interested. may have to rent a kitchen though, it would heat up our own places too much!

you could walk with me anytime!

i know what you mean about that mechanic, but in the car he was ohk. thank you for the sweet! [kind bar].

Yes it was a hot and humid day here in Florida. Hopefully you can get into the neurosurgeon soon and that you are taking it easy. I know that when my back starts hurting, I take an Aleve and that helps. My L5 and L6 are compressed together, so I cannot lift over 25lbs, but I do.

I found the Kind bars at Publix, and I like going walking either around 7am in the morning and at night. It is a lot cooler than and less busy. I have done that for a turtle that was in the middle of the road. I cried when I saw someone hit this baby black kitten. It freaked me out and I called the ASPCA to go and pick him up. I used to feed feral cats at this gas station I worked at.

Sitting here listening to the thunder rolling in, hoping it rains so that the plants get a nice drink....and really, really, extra glad that tomorrow is Friday. Work has been a rough go for weeks, and I'm appreciating the weekends more and more. This weekend has an extra bonus too since I'll be driving out to the airport bright and early on Sunday to pick up Rooster.

Anyone have any fun plans for the weekend?

I am having a stellar day. and the is still wonderful and I know it is only going to get better as the seasons change. Tomorrow I have to go into the office again.. for My last bit of training I hope. Then Sunday will be spent organizing and decorating the deck..I also have some things to finish up here in My place.. hanging some Ansel Adams prints in My bedroom and so on.. the place is definately coming together. Next week I will be calling the cable company and see how soon they can get everything hooked up. Today I am going to go to the local Salvation Army places here and in Ithaca and see what good buys they have. I love going and pick through that stuff.

Hoping you and Jo are having a peaceful day and you are getting plenty of rest. Soon the weekend will be upon us.

Unfortunately they scrubbed the launch. Matt's cousin who is down from Long Island, NY, went with me and we had a great laugh at our waitress. It took us almost three hours to get back to Orlando due to traffic. I ended up with a sunburn on my shoulders due to my bikini top.

Its a nice day here so far today and the temps are getting warmer each day which is a good thing. We are planting a garden so we have fresh produce for the summer, should be nice..its expensive too with all the things you have to get to make a garden..have a nice weekend all..

evening everyone...sitting here with Jo watching the Voice--and being a critic my days are semi busy--as much as jo will allow of me that is....for most part tho i am getting agitated with my WC ppl--still no appt for a neurosurgeon(drs recommendation) or ortho spinal dr(WC desire) my business id having to run at 2 week intervals bc nothing is getting done..so im slowly watching my business slide further and further down bc my boss is not proactive--he is just trying to get by till i get back--which is actually undetermined but being done in 2 week intervals grrr

Scoote, I wish you the best with your business. I don't understand why WC is being so slow..Maybe they won't take who the dr is recommending? I am over being on unemployment. Every two weeks it is something new as to why I am being suspended from submitting my claim. I just think it is Florida and they really need to get their heads out of their asses. . Esurance told me that the State of Florida, allowed them to increase our automobile's insurance rates by 1.4%. I asked the lady I was talking to, "How can the State of Florida allow you to raise our car insurance rates when 3/4's of the state is on unemployment?". The lady had no answer for that question. So now I am looking for a new car insurance company, my payments are now going to be around $110 a month for PIP and Bodily Injury. My rate last year, was $68 a month.

I had two job interviews on Monday, one with Lane Bryant, which went well even though it was a group interview and one with CVS. The store manager for CVS loved me and didn't flinch when she saw how much experience I had. The job is only part time, but you can work at other stores until you hit 40 hours. I have a job interview on Friday with Behr's Chocolates and then one on Monday with BestBuy.

How does eggs, toast, and coffee sound for breakfast this morning?
