Good Evening Jo and scoote,
Ok.. Ok.. the french pressed coffee worked.. it always works.. laughs. Life has been busy.. that is indeed true. More than likely changes again by the end of the month, beginning of next. However, that is how the chapter is written.. all I can do is follow Fate and go with it. I will say this.. the changes are all for the good.. and I am happy regardless of the minimal upheaval it is giving Me right now. I am enjoying the view off the deck..although we are getting our Spring rain now.. and it is supposed to be this drizzly overcast stuff the rest of this week I believe. It just makes you want to curl up and take a nap.. or make some of that french pressed goodness and read a book. Both of which were accomplished this past weekend.. grins. I am also mourning the loss of a good friend. He was murdered earlier this month while he slept in his own apartment. He was a huge gay activist here and owned the local gay club. Apparently as they have been investigating it was not tagged as a hate crime as the gentleman that murdered him was known to him. They are thinking it was a lover's spat gone bad. Shame it is. We have lost a huge presence in our community here, as Billy was one to organize our Pride celebrations and had his hands in anything that would raise awareness in our community. He will truly be missed. As of the latest news the 20 year old has confessed to the murder and is being held on a second-degree murder charge with no bail. It has not been reported what the motive was, if in fact it was truly a lover's spat or something more. scoote, I have to say I do not see an ortho being able to do much when it comes to a disc herniation. When Mine went it was a neurologist all the way. A couple of people suggested an ortho - however, the bad outweighed the good when it came to what they could do. It would be the same as going to a chiropractor from what I was told. I was fortunate and I had a wonderful neurosurgeon. However, when it comes to the back there are no guarantees. It is the one place you can really hurt yourself and not really know what the best option is for pain relief and treatment. I still have you in My daily meditations and I hope they find something soon to help you with relief. Oh and as for the job thing.. yeah.. you are going to find now that there will be alot of things you can not do.. even after the surgery. What you once did for work...might no longer be what your back can tolerate. Hey, I think you would make a great manager.. atleast it is something to look into. smiles. Hope everyone is having a peaceful evening. Thank you again Jo for the coffee.. I will try to stop in more often. Waves to everyone. As Always, Jake Quote:
