yep. i love the messy, horrible, crappy stages of me and my life. i used to be a manipulative lying cheating dishonest bitch who was completely clueless about her impact on others. it took me until i was 38 to figure that out and another 4 years to quit. it's like being in recovery. i slip up of course, but now it manifests mostly as betraying myself rather than others. last year was a bad year for that. still, i'm glad it happened to me. i can handle the unadulterated truth now in a way i couldnt when i was younger. i'm not ashamed of my life. i'm grateful for it.
