Good morning everyone
 ...and welcome back to the thread JoSchmooze!Coffee is on....and breakfast is ready...  Once again I've tried and failed to sleep in late...oh well...Sunday morning and I'm awake at 8 a.m. Made coffee and tea, unloaded and reloaded the dishwasher...and trying to decide if I want to be lazy or productive today. Hmmmm....so far, lazy is winning...even though the back yard is screaming for my attention. One more cup of coffee and then I'll decide... Hope you all have a lovely Sunday!

Jo Jo, thank you for breakfast! And I am saying, be lazy today! I have to work today and I am not ready to go in! I am sitting here watching an infomercial for a product called, The Genie Bra. It is nothing more than a modified sports bra. I need more coffee and someone to take the remote away from me, lol.. Hope you all had a great Saturday, I spent the whole day inside and relaxed. Zimmy

Good morning everyone
 Coffee is ready, and I thought we could all use breakfast in bed today (I know I could  ) I've been having a lot of trouble sleeping again, so I'm dragging around so far today....and so, so thankful that I work from home. I can be logged in and working....and still be unshowered and in my pj's....and they have no clue how tired and bedraggled I really am. I just keep telling myself....next week at this time, I'll be waking up in the Bahamas...no phone, no work, no computer....just us, the pool and whatever restaurant we wander into.  Hope you all have a great day!

Good Morning Everyone,
Have fun in the Bahamas Jo Jo! Next Thursday, I will be at an Alumni event for DeVry and I am supposed to wear something nice...Thank goodness for black slacks and nice heels. I love the days when you can wander around your house and be in pj's all day... I worked until 1:30am lastnight and came home to crash! I had the other two ladies in my department laughing at me all night, so hard, that one of them almost had issues. I tried talking to a guest and he said that must have been one funny joke. The night before, I had a guest laughing at me. I think the  's and  hit me lastnight and I need a day off...I had Clay laughing hard to...Gotta love when a joke turns into a image.Have a good day, Zimmy

Good morning everyone
Sounds like the job is going well Zimmy....I'm so glad to hear that! Coffee is on....and here's breakfast... We're in serious "countdown" mode here.....today, tomorrow, the weekend...then we're off on a week of vacation.  We already decided that (because international rates and the internet at the resort is insanely expensive) we're leaving cell phones and computers behind....and just going to enjoy each other and our time there without the electronics.Scoote is still getting jerked around by the insurance company's doctors....makes me furious. We aren't rocking the boat until after the trip, but then I'm hoping that she'll consult an attorney, and a neurosurgeon....even if we have to pay for it out of pocket. We really need to know what's going on with her back and what can be done to get her feeling better. I'm also in a much better situation at work soon....my difficult boss has resigned and her last day in the office is tomorrow. By the time I'm back from vacation, she'll be a memory....and my new boss is a "hands off" kind of guy. Some people don't like that in a manager, but I infinitely prefer it. I already drive myself on deadlines and assign myself work (did it again yesterday!)....so I'm good with someone who takes a more distant and less controlling approach. I'm also letting it be known that I want to be considered for her job if they decide to fill it.....we'll see. Speaking of work....I'm back to it! Have a great day everyone!

Have a good time in the Bahamas and glad to hear that your boss is adios! I cannot stand bosses that goes on a power trip and if you stand up to them, then they make your life a living hell...That is what I love about the ACLU..They put those kinds of bosses back in their place and then you can smile and say, "gotcha". My supervisor is being nasty, but I have learned just to stay off of her radar and my life is wonderful at work. After August 16th, I can look into transferring out of my department and maybe go back up to the front desk. That sucks what they are doing to Scoote and I would look into hiring an attorney and see what they have to say. Hugs to all of you! Zimmy Quote:
