the past few months i have been waking up with a song in my head..no song in particular.

i am actually looking forward to more changes in my life..

i am a very tolerant person and just don't see the point in getting worked up over small silly stuff (to me) unless i know someone is intentionally trying to piss me off.

i am a very sincere person if i say i'm sorry i mean it, the same with i love you.
i believe words have weight and carry meaning.

an empty apology means nothing to me, if you are not truly sorry then don't bother saying it..but that's just me.

I nodded my head the whole time I was reading Dreams' stuff above.

My son's donor was 6'4". Jesus. What was I thinking??

I tried to adopt a 2nd son, Manuel Diego, from Guatemala. They waited until after 2 years and $20,000 to decide I might be gay.

My son, Asa, once pointed out that I was never harsh with him. It was probably the proudest of myself I have ever been.

I have a natural French manicure. Just do. I don't know why.

Apologies mean very little to me. If you're sorry, don't do it again.

Forgiveness, also. It's not something I have to "bestow" upon you. If you don't do it again, we're good. If it's something really bad, time may heal. I don't hold grudges.

I like to buy a lot of Chinese food and eat it throughout the week.

I'm really grateful to have a second, part time job doing family counseling. It helps me make ends meet, and keeps me up to date on areas of my field that I wouldn't otherwise be exposed to.

The doorbell just rang and I bolted from the front room to the bedroom because I wasn't wearing pants.

I don't think the UPS guy noticed....

Watching the tv show Hoarders makes me want to clean my house down to the cement blocks.

I dislike insects but ones that jump cause me to squeal a bit. (sshh)

I am a raving insomniac and usually have to take something to get any rest over 2 hours a night.

I love cats... I love every kind of cat...Sorry, I just really... really.. *sniffle* love cats.. and I just want to hug all of them!.. *tears linger on lashes only to be brushed away*..

I may be slightly sarcastic.. maybe.

1) I have more than 20 tattoos

2) I had my first fight in the boxing ring 1 month ago ( at the age of 49)

3) Retired from law enforcement after being hurt in the line of duty

4) I can not sleep unless I am laying down

5) Nothing turns me on more than kissing a femme that's wearing lipstick!
