Good Morning Everyone,
Hope you all had a good finish to your Thursday and an even better start to your Friday! Yellow, thank you for the banana nut muffins and they do smell yummy!!!! Is that extra bold coffee brewing? OS, thanks for the hugs and hope your day isn't to busy that you cannot enjoy it! I have to work today at 2:30p and I am still wore out from that Alumni dinner yesterday. Have a great day! Zimmy

Good morning!!
Oh how I love the smell of fresh brewed coffee. Thank you YB. Looks like my honey wants me to make breakfast at home this morning since I woke to find all the fixin's for fried potatoes laid out. I get the entire day all to myself, which is very unusual. I find I get lots more stuff done when it is only me in the house (well, me and the cats). I am very excited and have my to do list up and ready to start crossing things off as soon as Rene hits the road. Zimmy, how did your speech go last night? Yippie for NY!!! Andrea

Good Morning Andrea,
Since my car broke down, I couldn't give my speech. Bit I had a blast at the Alumni dinner. Have fun today! Zimmy Quote:

Good morning everyone!
![]() Thanks for the coffee, and for keeping the kitchen so nice while we were away! ![]() We got home late last night and are moving slow this morning....luckily no one needs to work, so we can take it easy. At some point I'll have to unpack suitcases and get the laundry going...but that's about all the productivity I have planned. The Bahamas was beautiful. We ended up in a single room instead of a suite (which equals crowded and hectic when there are 4 people, including 2 teenage boys), but we had the most gorgeous view of the ocean....lots of fun in the pool and "The Current" (a lazy river with rapids and a wave machine)...and an amazing interaction with Meg, a 14 year old Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphin and her adorable 4 month old baby Maru. We also (unbeknownst to us before we left) had a service day for the Salvation Army and a few childrens' homes there....painting, assembling bicycles, landscaping, etc. done by about 150 Papa Johns' volunteers. We mostly painted (outside in 95 degree weather...sweat, sweat, sweat)....but it was good for our kids to get an up close and personal view of exactly how fortunate and blessed they are....and even better to see the faces of about 175 kids who each got presented with a brand new bicycle of their own. ![]() I'm off to get the laundry going....but I'll be back! Hugs to you all.
