No Darth we haven't "met" until now. How's Memphis treating you. We just became Tennesseans this time last year. Still trying to find my compass so haven't been able to seek out community here. But things are settling down for us and it would be nice to develop this.

No Lafayette is north east of Nashville...I'm originally from New Orleans but have spent all my teens and most of my adult life on the west coast. We moved here 1 year ago from Florida where i had resided for about 4 years prior to our move. Haven't really caught up with any B-F folks in or near Nashville yet. But it has been a busy year for us...now as we get settled hope to make the aquaintance of the B-F community near us. Where is east Tennessee are you looking to move? Thanks for the welcome!

Hey Alphadaddy! Looks like you're not terribly far from Nashville. Maybe some of the folks living there (Tickled?????) could let us in on their hanging out schedule...pretty please???

As for where I want to move, the main thing is east from where I am now. I'm thinking probably Nashville - that would put me in a city I love and could call home, and be a lot closer to my folks in Chattanooga. I wouldn't be opposed to landing in Chattanooga either, but think work prospects would probably be better in Nashville.

I think I'll stay where I'm at for now . It isn't much but my place is paid for and not to far from Paris,TN or Murray, KY. We have had more and more people move in around this area in the last year. Traffic sometimes looks like Jackson,TN. Course they have always try to make this a retirement area anyway.

Hi Alphadaddy, belated welcome to Tennessee. I've been a Tennessean my whole life. Born and grew up in Chattanooga, moved to Memphis in '91 for college and haven't left. As far as I know, the best b-f community in the state is in Nashville - they sometimes have get-togethers and such. Good people.
