hope you all had a great weekend!
i worked all weekend, and the times i wasn't working, i was busy, busy, busy! hehe.. finally a few moments to relax, then off to bed for some sleepytime soon.. *yawns*

it was a rainy kinda ick weather weekend here - rained off and on, even a thunder & lightning storm yesterday - EEK! but i don't mind the bad weather when i am working lots hehe..

Jo, welcome back & lucky youuu! so glad you had a good time, and that you are relaxing since being back..

Hi everyone, happy Monday!
worked this morning in Trin (the alzheimer unit) - short 3 hour shift..
so am home until this afternoon when i have to go back for another 3 hour shift.. crazy split shifts, but thankful for work!

the sun is trying to make an appearance today - at least it isn't raining, though i'm growing fond of puddle jumping these days! heh.. hope you are all having a sunshiney day to enjoy! ♥ xoxox ..

come on hump day (i have wednesday and thursday off this week) so tomorrow is my friday, yay!

How about some filet mignon, baked potatoes, steamed veggies and fresh yeast rools for dinner tonight?

I had to work at 7am this morning, but since I didn't get to take a lunch break, I was able to leave at 2:30p. I came home to take a two hour long nap and woke up somewhat rejunvinated..Hehe..

Scoote cooked tonight....and we had yummy pork chops, macaroni & cheese and steamed broccoli. But I could find room for a second dinner!

A nap sounds like heaven...I managed one while we were on vacation, but I wanted one today too.

Coffee is on....and I'm in the mood for...

Hi Dapper...long time no see in the kitchen! And, you're right....I fail miserably as a napper and truly wish I could do better. Sleeping is not my strong suit.

Luckily, today is a day with only one measly conference call...unheard of....so I actually get to spend some of my work time thinking, planning, catching up on paperwork and all of those other more fun things that I get to do from home in my pajamas. In fact, today will involve much spreadsheet number-crunching, which always puts a smile on my face (yes, I'm weird like that!).

Zimmy, that sounds delicious but I will have to take a pass this morning. My honey has placed his order and I actually feel like cooking.

Heck, I have been cooking so much lately, I am beginning to wonder what's come over me.

Our main plan for today is a road trip to visit a friend and take him homemade individually packaged meals to reheat since he isn't up to fixing anything for himself right now. It should be a good day for a road trip and it will be wonderful to see him.

Jo, I can honestly say I don't miss having a job with conference calls. Let me build a spreadsheet, or work with one, and I am in heaven.

Good morning!

Thanks for keeping the kitchen up and running Zimmy...it's been a busy few days! I was actually up and working a bit past midnight last night (we launched a new feature online and I had to test and sign off on my part of it), so the alarm felt like it was going off mighty early this morning.

I think this looks wonderful...

There are a few important things on my desk to finish before the weekend...a conference call/project team meeting I have to lead (and I hear you on the conference call vs. spreadsheet thing Andrea!

)...then a call with my former boss' boss to talk about her vision for our department and my role (should be interesting)....and then a, hopefully, relaxing 3 day weekend.

Good morning

Holiday weekend...must be time for brunch...

Started out looking like a nice day here, but now getting gray and looks like we might be in for more rain. I won't complain....it's been so dry that we were officially in a drought with water restrictions and the lawn was dying. So, come on rain!

Didn't manage to sleep in again today (no surprise....just wish I could), so up about 8, cleaned and adjusted the chemicals in the pool, made coffee and tea...and then, since the kettle was boiling made jello for Scoote and a pitcher of ice tea for later (I'm really trying to get off the soda).

Scoote ran off to a garage sale and work for something....and I made breakfast for Rooster and I....wish there was a brunch like this one around here to go to though *sigh*. I just love brunch buffets and leisurely weekend mornings....drinking too much coffee and grazing the buffet...talking with friends. For me, that's probably the perfect weekend morning.

Oh yeah, I was trying to respond to this with the stupid phone.....

I heard salt is good to rub on the gums of the sore tooth. Temporary.
And 4 advil is the same as one 800 mg motrin.

Toothaches suck.

I like hearing about odd things people eat for breakfast. One of my favorites is cold spaghetti.
