It's a weekend tradition in our section of town houses (weather permitting of course) I always roast a batch or two of coffee beans early i/e I started doing it at 6......the roaster generates alot of heat and emitts a wonderful smell that both carries and lingers......so as the neighbors in our section of 4 wake up, I make them espresso (from the freshly roasted beans)
and we all sit on the decks and read the paper (well, lap tops)

we've been doing this for quite a while now, so someone else always has the biscotti or danish. Our animals all hang out too, but it's quiet time.....
very little chatting.
