What did you accomplish today?

Took my sister to a doctor appointment.
Went by her house and took some pics that her insurance company needs.
Printed the pics up and mailed them off.
Bought some chocolate toffee.
Had dinner.
Organized my sister's room (mostly just clearing away the clutter & putting away laundry).
Went for an after dinner drive with my nephew.
Smoked a cigar.
Played Farmville.

whole lot of nothing, though I did make sure our outside kitty friend had water and crunchies to eat. checked the mail, cleaned our kitties water fountain and found my debit card. Other than that I messed around on facebook, slept and had bad dreams, and ate a couple times. Yay, me.

came home meet up with repair guy to get estimate.
packed up 4th of July stuff, still need to put in the attic.
cleaned out my spice rack got rid of old stuff.
went to the bank to open a new account, I have been putting this off for awhile
grocery shopped.
Than grocery shopped again.
Made dinner.

Had to take my sister to the eye doctor for another test.
Let my nephew drive while we did a few errands. He's glad I'm not as nervous with his driving as his mom is - - - but then we are in her car! I'd probably be worse if we were driving my car.
Cleaned out the back porch area. My sister cleaned the windows. It is so bright and fresh smelling in there now. We've set up a little reading area for my SIL. We even had dinner (pizza) out there tonight! Such fun.
Going to start putting the basement in order.

Took some clothes back to Avenue and exchanged them for some work clothes. This is something i have been procrastinating. Hate to shop for clothes. But it was fine.

Took the "day off" from the computer yesterday...a needed break for my eyes from time to time. Good day though...we got lots of work done in the back yard...

hammered in the last 26 feet of edging
compost around the plants, top soil stomped down along the fence line to keep kitties from digging
cardboard down (it suffocates the grass and weeds, and rots in over time)
mulch down....but probably need another 4-6 bags to finish
we made it from fence line to fence line....yay us!!!

So far today...

Slept until 9...very late for me
Up, dressed...tried to rescue a lizard from the kitties on my own
Played pool boy...check and adjust chemicals, sweep sides and steps, skim the top....pool looks great
Panera's for a latte
grocery store...fresh fruit and yogurt for me, coke, chicken broth packets and oj for Scoote (poor sweetie is on a 2 day liquid diet)

Took my furbaby for a nice long walk.
Showered and out to run errands.
Printed up some pics from my camera.
Bought a friend some tonic water.
Went to catch the train but missed it my mere seconds!
Had lunch.
Finally caught train.
Read a few chapters of my book while on the train.
At work.

Woke up tooooo early (internal alarm clock went off at 6:30 a.m.

)
Then...

made coffee for me, tea for Rooster
made scrambled eggs for Rooster and, since there weren't enough eggs, something else for me
pool care....check chemicals, sweep sides and steps, skim net the stuff on the top
put all the plants back in their "pre-hurricane caution" positions on the patio
removed and washed couch covers (2 loads of laundry)
went to the dog beach with Scoote, Rooster and Shadow (the dog)
walked for about an hour and a half, picked up about a gazillion shells
washed the sand off the dog
once home, wrangled dog in and out of shower with Rooster so he could be shampooed (the dog....Rooster shampoos himself)
shower.....ahhhhhh
replaced couch cushions with minimal swearing
laundered 2 loads of towels and 2 loads of clothes
made dinner
loaded and ran the dishwasher....was cruel mama and made the boys unload it and put the stuff away

And so far this Sunday morning...

coffee for me, tea for Rooster
tuna for the kitties
pool care....see above ...it's a daily thing
tuna salad on toast and watermelon for Rooster and me....everyone else is still sleeping

I did, however, work a half day and am doing some laundry and watched an episode of CSI with Ebon, and am playing on here now.

But today I....

* Bought a birdfeeder, birdfeed, and a shephards hook because it was all %25 off and it is going to be VERY cold here soon
* Tried a new Chicken Brocolli recipe because it looked good in the picture and turned out to taste just as good!
* Showed my son's GF how I think you are supposed to grill, because she has never and I have twice - pro you know lol!
* Dibley the cat and I decided where the birdfeeder should go because he is an indoor cat and needs to have complete viewing capability....

And that was the day. Another list complete!!
