I always think it's funny that this born-and-bred Georgia girl had to move to Canada (and become a Canadian citizen) to find such a swoon-worthy dyke idol. It's just too bad that single butches like her seem to be a rare breed. For every one of her there's like 100 of us clamouring for attention!

Ivan makes me proud to be Canadian, and I'm proud of my library for making her the Writer in Residence that year.

Just in case y'all didn't know... IVAN is gonna be at the BFP Reunion in Little Rock, Arkansas in October. YES, she is going to be performing and spending the weekend with BFP folks! See... it's a great chance to meet her AND lots of other friends from here!

At this moment, I'm crushing on my live-in sweetie who woke up early to drive me to Dr appointments 2 days in a row. Kept me smiling while i chugged 2 nasty barium milkshakes before today's CT scan.
