Good morning everyone
  Coffee is on....and how about breakfast in bed this morning? We're having a lazy day around here today. Yesterday we went to an estate sale and found a few neat finds...Rooster did especially well with his love of Asian antiques and found a Takito lustreware tea service from the 1920s and an antique bronzeware cup, both with a dragon design. I got a few original Newsweek articles and magazine covers from the Apollo 11 flight....did I mention I'm a space geek? Hope you all have a relaxing and wonderful Sunday!

Good morning!
Today we will be packing toothbrushes and old people meds, and driving a couple of hours to a place by a stream surrounded by trees and nature. Woo Hoo!!! Two whole days in quiet, without the stresses of everyday life. I don't remember if I mentioned our wonderful cat/house sitter but she will be here to take care of things, just like she was a few weeks ago when we jumped up and scurried to my mother's bedside. We are blessed to have her as a friend. Speaking of mother: she is making an amazing recovery. From hospice visits to watching Lawrence Welk with friends in less than two weeks time. Thank you, Jo, for the breakfast in bed. I haven't had breakfast in bed in years. Think I will suggest it to my honey. LOL Enjoy your Sunday, everyone.

Good Morning Everyone,
Thank you Jo Jo for breakfast! I have a gorgeous Boston Butt roast in the slow cooker marinating with fresh chopped onion, garlic and potatoes in a Swanson chicken broth. We will have dinner later tonight! The muffins are delicious and I will be making a batch for our trip to Little Rock...Or maybe make a loaf of Apple Cinnamon bread instead of the muffins... Good morning everyone
Coffee?  Yesterday was pretty uneventful...I actually went to bed at 7:30 since I've been so exhausted. It helped a little, but somehow I'm still tired. Mom is hanging in there. I'll be up there next week to see her, so I'll have a better idea of what's real then. I'm getting too much conflicting information to be sure of anything just now.
