I have a super sensitive nose so this is a great thread for me
![]() Love: *the smell of a rain storm on the horizon...especially since i live in the desert! *creosote *Ralph Lauren's "Black" *My kiddos hair (love to bury my nose in it!) *fresh herbs like oregano, thyme and rosemary that leave their scent on your finger tips *mesquite wood burning in the fireplace *morning dew *bacon cooking on the stove *fresh roasted coffee beans *pumpkin spice lattes Loathe: *most perfume...especially walking through a department store with 5,000 of them *cigarettes *bad breath *unclean people (not so much body odor, but that "weeks without a shower smell"...it mostly makes me feel sad for them) *air fresheners (chemically scented ones) |

I'm another one that can't handle patchouli...it smells oily and dirty to me, and gives me an instant headache.
I like clean, fresh scents...and not too much of any perfume or cologne. If it smells like you bathed in it, then it's headache-making for me. Generally I prefer the smell of good ol' soap and shampoo. ![]()

I actually get complimented when I where patchouli. It suits me. However, it's pretty hard to find now, so I have not worn it in some time.
I wear White Musk and Vanilla from Body Shop. I sometimes use pure essential oils as well. A strong perfume can bring on an instant headache, but a subtle cologne is very enticing. "Death Breath" and "Booze Breath" are buzz kills for sure. |
