If we're talking movie theater, it was Planet of the Apes: Rise of the Apes.
The only thing that I hated was that I was watching it alone. I would have loved to have seen it with someone who had seen the original Planet of the Apes with Charleton Heston. There were parts that made me exclaim out loud! |

Took my son out to see "Captain America" last weekend. Something he wanted to see so we went and......I really enjoyed it. Very interesting. Not type of movie I normal would go see (war movie, and don't usually enjoy movies set in times before the 70's) He really thought it was great too.
Also saw for the 3rd time "Bridesmaid". This time with friends from work. Couple of them had not seen it yet, so I brought my copy over and we even brought over bridesmaids gowns and wedding dresses Anyway, once again, totally cracked up laughing and friends thought freakin' hilarious too. Now to get my mom and maybe my sis to watch it

'Requiem for a Dream'
Excellent film making, top-notch acting ... but my god is it hard to watch.

My most recent movie watch was "Hanna". Action packed thriller, worth seeing if you like the genre and you aren't particularly squeamish. Great acting, interesting storyline, suspenseful. Synopsis (source: www.imdb.com): "A 16-year-old who was raised by her father to be the perfect assassin is dispatched on a mission across Europe, tracked by a ruthless intelligence agent and her operatives."

I thought it was great. Really fantastic cinematography & sound design. The writing and acting were both quite good too. It reminded me of watching 'La Femme Nikita' for the first time.

To answer a Question asked, Yep I enjoyed both Red and Swing Kids
...Sparkle, french version I'm guessing...Point of No Return was ok, with bridget fonda, kind of "Americanized" but almost ..in my opinion, Plagiarized.... I loved La Femme Nikita... I'm trying to grab the movie "Hanna" through those 1$ rentals....Damn u College town !! I'm waiting for Zookeeper with Kevin James, and Fast 5....I also wanna see 50/50 for the Plot and how the Protagonist somewhat uses "Humor" as Medicine I rented X-Men; First Class again tonight for a bit of 'geek'-type snuggling....I figured if I saw Wolverine's "prequel" why not the Original bunch also.... It does explain a little on how and why each turned out the way they are, and of course it shows that essentially at 1 point or another they were all "Good" and friends, within the cliche of finding refuge/safety with their own Kind... Kevin Bacon's in this one, so that add's even more to that weird 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon list. If you're a die-hard X-men fan, you'll enjoy its 'history', wanting even more.

Today I saw back-to-back :
Red (Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, Helen Mirren, Richard Dreyfus, John Malkovich), an action-packed cloak & dagger "comedy"... Swing Kids (Robert Sean Leonard *Dr. Wilson from House M.D.*, Christian Bale, Noah Wyle), Docu-Drama about the underground movement of Swing Kids during Nazi Germany's reign, slightly a coming-of-age and realization account mixed with History of Nazi Germany and a dash of Swing Music and it's powerful influence on their dissenting youth, with consequence... {btw, I loved the original Planet of the Apes, I wish they'd give 'em all, or most anyways, when they decide to show 'em...I do wanna see the latest , I was told it felt more like Matthew Brodericks Project X than the originals, I'd like to form my own opinion though.}
