OMG those cicadas would dive bomb Me when I would turn the pressure washer on ! They would swarm around the car ! I was ok til one would land on My face , then it kinda freaked Me out ! lol

I know!!!! They have no manners!!!!! They did me that way too. And omg they had to be the ugliest things in the world on top of that.

I'm so glad they are gone...for now anyway.

When I lived in Jackson those cicadas lived all in the trees around my house. I don't recall getting dive bombed per se, but they were ugly.

Good morning from Knoxville everyone!

So I'm in the new house in Powell/Halls. I've found that if I leave about 5 minutes after 7 I miss all 4 school zones I have to drive thru as I move down Emory Rd. If I'm just 5 minutes late, it takes me an extra 15 minutes to get to work. I mapped out a faster way, but haven't explored it yet.

I'm thinking I enjoy vacuuming hard wood floors better than carpet.

*Edit to add: As I feared, its also pulled the latent obsessive compulsive out of me. The one that hates to walk across a hard wood floor and feel stuff on my feet.

I pulled the carpet up in the livingroom and next is the rest of the house , still have to stain and clear , but I like the hard wood floors better I like running the vac over the hard woods floors Myself
