I can.....
be a NURSE on Belle's PINK WING..... along with Always2Late....I have Firefighter/EMT skills....am awesome cook....great "go to person", incredible listener.....crafty/artsy....can't do any chores BUT can contribute in many other ways.
I agree on there be accomodations as we "age" and anyone who can no longer care for themselves..... DEFINITELY fishing pond, medicinal herb growing facility, individual quarters as well a communal "mess hall" (optional to dine in), a farm with hens, cows, goats, an herb (for cooking) area, an onsite bakery (fresh baked goods (for everyone), an onsite brewery, dance hall/game room, huge outdoor grill and firepit area, a definitive MELON PATCH so Scorp is NEVAH without melons (lmao)..a  bed for fishing bait (G can prolly built a "green" one), and a masseuse....OH, a most definite  pond for duck races...smiles...that is all ...for now...

I think that'd be kick-ass - or full of some serious mad drama - or both... probably both. LOL What skills can you contribute? Well, Sparx bakes awesome artisan bread, and is there a body-positive Yoga Teacher in the house yet? I could rock that. Sounds like there's some psychic services in the works - I can read some tarot too. I think I have other skillz, but I have to think about them. lol. Would you want to do community meals every night in the "Mess Hall"? Could be fun - but shouldn't be mandatory. Sometimes I need time just with my little family. Would people still need to pay something into the system like rent, even if it was only nominal? I think communities like this CAN be self-sustaining reducing or almost eliminating the need for money but that really depends how it's set up and if all the communities needs can be met by its members. Do you think you'd get tired of living with family all year long? I think that it depends on the relationships and the energy of the place. Self-sustaining barter, trade and work-based communities have totally different energy than a regular mainstream style living situation. I'd like to think there's a different level of personal responsibility when the entire community relies on each other to be successful - and a different investment in working things out when there are problems. Can there be a kink-hall, pls? Thanks! hee hee.

<---no longer owns horses but does still have kid, cats and guns. (I'm from the south y'all. My rifles, bows, and fishing poles go where I go.) I'd prefer to have my lil spot off in a far corner if I'm there. I'm a bit reclusive and am not really a fan of neighbors. I can only handle people in small doses, hence why I am not a city girl. I really like the idea of being with community though. Oh, and I too can garden, farm, build shit and bake shit. That's about it though lol

If this were a reality, I would love to live there. I would gladly assist in the marketing end of the community's needs. Doing outreach, plugging it at events, assisting with tours, etc.
I would like to run a bed and breakfast tho, for visitors. Family members, friends, dates, etc. The B&B would also host community events, like huge potlucks and after dinner theater and special guest lecturers. My B&B would have a berry patch, herb garden and chicken flock. I need a cook tho. I cant handle cooking for the public...
