What Gives You Peace?

Wakeing up is the start of a good day.
Hearing my sons voice and knowing he has grown into a really good person and is happy with his life.
My fur kids never ending crazy stunts,then them falling asleep in my lap or under my feet.
A good hard work out I just finished,the feeling of sweat pouring off me,knowing thats a fue ounces of chub gone for good.
Makeing plands for future events,then knowing im actually going to get there.

Water ~ for this Pisces ~ certainly is a peaceful thing for me (looking at Turtle's photo above!). I even have this great Rainfall sounds ap on my phone....different types of rain (on a window, in a forest, on an umbrella, etc.) and I go to sleep with that peaceful sound! Alas, there are no thunderstorms, but I make do!

The sound of water gives me peace.
Whether is the ap, the ocean, a thunderstorm, or water falling gently over stones in the Nueces River.....all is peaceful for me.

I've been finding peace in odd places lately. My current odd place is re-reading books I read when I was a kid. They have a bigger meaning and understanding for me now, yet I find peace.

(when I say kid, I mean 15 to 20ish)

I am finding so much peace lately... the last couple days, I found a new level of peace in knowing that a friend would go out on a limb to help me... even when I didnt know I needed that help, and years later... they are still there, waiting to help when I needed...

... That friend, and so many others, that are becoming the family I truly belong to... bring me sooo much peace.

i finally got peace today...at least for the moment...after having a good talk with my mom about things going on....i hope this gives us another chance to become as close as we once were...maybe even moreso...

The screened-in porch in our new home. I am surrounded by birds (lots of cardinals, blue jays, fench, etc) and my dogs. Blissful peace~~~~

I love morning coffee with Papa out there before hy goes to work. Ahhhh.
