I do believe I am one of those evil parents...lol It wasn't intentionally mean, but I gave my son a family name. Which I didn't realize sounded so quirky until after the fact.

His first name is Sterling.

Our last name is Silvers.

Needless to say, he goes by his middle name...lol

I went to school with twins named Florine and Klorine.

And also a dude named Harry Pitts (he was a coach and driver's ed teacher).

My all time favorite is a friend of mine, Dr. Head! And he's gay! LOVE!

Wow this one jolted my memory. I was in Job Corp and there was a young woman there from the midwest. Her name was Gaye Head. I was 18 years old and I thought to myself, what were her parents thinking.

(No, she was not queer by any stretch of the imagination. Straight as an arrow.)

My mom and I were talking today and I just had to share this. She said she asked my aunt this morning who bought the house in front of her. My aunt replied it was a school teacher. My mom then asked who. My aunt said her name is.... Mrs. Blackboard! I don't know her first name but it just cracked me up nonetheless.

One of the surgeons who came to speak to me prior to the big event was named Dr. Wellman. The intern standing next to him was Dr. Care. They were both wearing legitimate name badges.

I still remember one old headstone in a cemetary that had nothing else carved on it except the name "Bad Boy". Also, an obituary notice in my local paper stated someone's first name as being "Useless". I named one of my furkids "Number One", and when he hears the number one, he looks up lol!
