My landlord calling, saying I could pick up the new keys ... the last time he tried to make keys, they didn't work. Tonight, I picked up the new set, went over to the house, plugged in the heaters (cuz it's NIPPY tonight) and tried the new keys...

they didn't work. My landlord makes me smile... first he was so proud of himself that he put in pipes and electric for a laundry room... but he forgot the dryer vent. When I brought it to his attention, his response was "well.... I guess I did". Now the keys... *shakes head* Just like my current roomie and his parents, my landlord and his family are all good folks... all things will work out, even if the keys don't work.

so every m,t,w, even though i only have a zone one parking permit i park in the lot specific area because it's so much closer to the building my evening classes are in. i've never had a problem because i park waaaaaay in the back...until tonight. i had so many meetings that i was running late for class and parked in the very front isle. the good news is that the parking person left me only a warning with a little note on the back asking that i keep my vehicle in the back since i don't have the appropriate permit for the lot. and they put a little smiley face on the bottom.
