Thinking: A million years ago, my bestie Tori & I were both going through a lot of emotional upheaval, we lived 5300miles & 8 time zones apart and it was really challenging to communicate & support each other. We used to email each other Ani Difranco lyrics in an attempt to express some of what we were going through. I haven't listened to Ani in years but all day I've had Ani Difranco lyrics floating through my head. There was an immense amount of change in my life, at that time; it was a painful and deeply meaningful period of growth. I wonder if I'm not in the middle of a similar period. I feel a bit lost & a little bit found, a bit wobbly and uncertain. I'm also wondering at what time mayhem-in-the-market will subside? /my brain is busy

something good: the weather's been weird here. We've had nothing but sunshine the past few days, but it's been very, very cold. If we get any snow at all, who knows when that will happen at all, we'll be in trouble like we always kind of are. Snow shuts down Portland in a hurry (we're never prepared for it).
