Affirmations For Today

Today I am focused on happy lifting over heavy lifting. I will resist the urge to think of the worst thing that could happen in any given situation. I will gather small joys to fill my hula hoop. I will avoid those people who would take me down with their negativity and unhappiness. I am a professional joy seeker in all ways and in all things. Seek joy, y'all. Pass it on.

Arwen I am so doing this, thank you!

I woke up this morning with just this thought and when I came online and read this and your FB post I realized how the Universe was talking to me.

So today, in order to concentrate on me and the positive in my life, I took a giant step in a personal process that will bring me closer to those who are dearest to me and shower me with joy and unconditional love.

I am taking the steps, as difficult as they are, to do exactly what needs to be done for me to achieve this, thank you for passing it on.

I will do what I need to do, even if I don't want to. I understand the importance of my responsibilities and treasure the independence they afford me. I will not let depression overpower my desire to live my life as I choose.

You may look at others and what they have and wish you had the same characteristics or were in the same place as they. Ultimately, how you feel about who you are determines your level of self-esteem. Even though there are things you want to change about yourself, these things make up who you are today. No matter what your defects or imperfections, accept who you are in the present moment.

Today I will appreciate who I am and what I have.

Today I am aware of opportunities. I will seize them wisely. I will apply myself whole-heartedly so that I can take the best advantage of these gifts. I give thanks for unknown blessings already on their way. Seek joy, y'all. Pass it on.

Today I will work on the most important of all my muscle groups. I will pump joy with every breath. I will squat and jerk happiness into my world. I will run the treadmill of delight. I am a joy-filled, consciously happy woman. Seek joy, y'all. Pass it on.

I am worth every damn wonderful thing that has been happening to me lately. I will embrace the love and happiness I am feeling, erase the hate and drama from my life and live every single day to its fullest !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today I will remember what is mine and what is not mine. I will focus on my goals but not at the expense of others. I will not show my a$$ in public no matter how tempting it is. I will allow others all the rope they need because their behavior is not in my hula hoop. I spin joy in and them out. Seek joy, y'all. Pass it on.

I surrender myself to this moment in time and claim all blessings which are mine to have. I surrender to joy, peace and happiness. I surrender to the abundant love available to me. I accept nothing other than that which heals my heart, mind and soul. I accept that the universe will provide for every need I have in life, right now.
