Gemme, I was a late adopter of a smartphone. Felt intimidated I think.
I got my 3GS right before the 4 came out (of course). I absolutely love it! It is so intuitive, I easily figured out how to use it. I have probably 35 apps, tons of songs, play multi-player games with folks around the world, use it for the Planet as my mini portable computer, etc. Can't say enough good things about it. I still have 10.5 GB available so it feels wasteful to upgrade to the 4 yet but am craving a love affair with Siri (sorry honey, Siri will be my other butch at some point) and I want Face Time, too. Yes, I love my IPhone

I LOVE
 my Samsung Galaxy Epic 4G Touch. I've had this phone since October 2011. Everyone raves about their IPhones, and the Galaxy is comparable to that.Also in love with my Nano 5th Generation Ipod and is the best generation version out there since it has FM radio and other bells and whistles which the others don't have... |

My girlfriend bought me the iPad 3 for my birthday a few weeks ago and I LOVE it. Not sure how I survived without it.. Lol. I have the 16gb LTE and the service is SO fast. I pay 30 a month through AT&T for 3gb. I use it constantly and I barely hit 1GB in 3 weeks. I wish they has a 2GB plan.
My MacBook might need an upgrade soon. I bought it in 2008, and it's still going strong but I am always looking out for new and better. I wanted a MacBook air, but with my iPad, I'm not sure I need it anymore. My currently apple inventory is IMac MacBook iPhone 4s iPad 3 Im gonna add an Apple TV soon. I bought one for my ex before for his birthday, but it did not stream CC on Netflix so he returned it for somethig else. It was pretty nifty tho, minus that part. Now that I no longer live with anyone deaf, I don't need the CC haha. I was actually considering eliminating my cable bill and only using Apple tv for Netflix and Hulu and ordering the shows I really want on iTunes. So much cheaper!!!

I have a question for my iFriends:
Is it possible to transfer music from an iPod to a computer? Does one need some special software? I've googled it and found a lot of stuff that looks questionable to me. But I'm not techie. Help. Thank you.

I am about to take my life completely mobile here in a week or two.
I am looking into which iphones are better ,which plan will work for me and also am curious about ipads vs laptops as I dont want to deal with all online stuff being on a tiny phone. My laptop is dead anyway so I want to make a wise choice. I need something to store a resume ,pictures,music and thats about it. I'm with at&t and wonder if a hot spot (blah blah) is something I need. I dont want to go there and have them talk me into a bunch of shit I just dont need.300mg plan for phone? 3g for ipad? ugh I'm clueless. I am doing all this to simplify my life so the monthly bill is important to me but I also need something I'll be happy with. I really want to choose wisely. I would appreciate any and all suggestions. It sucks but I really dont have the time to really research anything. Things have just fallen into place and I have to order what I want, fairly quickly. I'm trying to envision a smoooth transition without having to crawl on the roof for a signal or smacking anything around because it's too slow .gif "Say What?") pms appreciated because you may have to talk to me like I'm five or something. snort |
