Coriolanus - IMDB site

I wasn't sure what to expect going into it, but I LOVE Shakespeare, so I figured I would enjoy it. I had a couple of moments that absolutely rocked me. The violence is really graphic and it's set in a contemporary war zone, so if you're military/have loved ones in the service this might be a bit triggery. Overall, though, I absolutely freaking LOVED it. Ralph Fiennes and Gerard Butler are BRILLIANT, and they rocked the hell out of the homosexual undertones. I recommend the hell out of this is you're a Shakespeare fan.

Friday night, I saw "The Artist." Pretty good. I am glad I saw it at the theater since any other "venue" would have probably made it too easy to turn it off during the slow scenes.

Saturday, "The Woman in Black." My son & I see scary movies together. BUT, he bailed on me and stayed with his grandmother that night so I had to face the dark alone.

Woman in Black

Just remember, if you go to see this movie, that it is PG13. I thought it was okay for the most part and had a few good "jump" moments. Given the rating I think the "pysch" factor was a tad to tame for my likes.

Overall it was fun

Thank you for the review! IMO, you just couldn't go wrong with the two of them in one film.

I thought it was a pretty good movie. I had a really hard time with the racial slurs, but I get that that is how it was and for some still is...

Visually stunning combination of real life and cgi.... Great story about hopes, dreams, magic and faith through the experiences of a young french orphan.
