I've been asked to organize a panel of local sex positive sex workers to talk to a social work grad class st the local uni. We'll share our stories and experiences and hopefully help the students check some of their paternalistic assumptions and remind them that we're not all victims and we don't all want to be saved. Woah. Run-on sentence. That's what happens when I try to post on my phone while bussing home.

Last night, Riley and I were talking. He is finishing his first week of full-time work (previously he was working part-time). He does this while going to school at night. He mentioned how tired he was, then paused and said "I really admire you; you work full-time and raise three kids on your own and still have time to take care of me."
It made me smile then and makes me smile now.
