I miss when things werent so complicated, and people didnt feel like it was ok to just see what they could get from you but they instead looked inside to see who you really are

I miss the smells of Vermont in October, the leafs, pumpkins, apples, pies, festivals all of it. Wish I had a month off work I would go up there for October

I miss the old video games out there to play like Pac-man and Gallaga. I use to play them at the bowling alley.
I miss being able to go running and not feeling like my back, neck, legs etc hurt afterwards. I know I know "no pain no gain" LOL Sucks getting older sometimes.

...fall in New England. I liked a page on facebook called "VisitNH - New Hampshire" and locals have been posting pictures of the fall foliage on there. It made me cry.

I grew up in Sterling, Massachusetts, a little town north of Worcester. My grandparents had a huge oak tree in front of their house (it's still there) and the amount of leaves it would drop seemed endless. Fall as a kid meant jumping in the leaves my siblings and I spent all day raking up just for a few minutes of fun. Then grandpa would eventually burn them. There is no smell like jumping in the leaves and the neighborhood all burning their leaves. When I smell ylang-ylang it takes me to that head-space for a second.

Fall in Tennessee isn't the same.
