![]() The Mission Medley (Live in Venice, 2007) -- composed and conducted by Maestro Ennio Morricone
Mother took me on a Grand Tour of Europe in the summer of 1981, just after I'd gotten out of the USMC. One of the countries we both enjoyed the most was Italy and the scenes of Venice in this video bring back those memories of that wonderful time I shared with my Mother. It is dear to her, too, so I want to dedicate this to my beautiful, loving Mother who has done so very much for me over the years. She'll be 90 this coming April 27th and she's just as full of life and love now as she's ever been. I love you, Mom. You're truly one of a kind!! ![]() ![]() This is for you, with ever so much love and appreciation. ![]() Your son, ~Theo~ ![]()

My beautiful, wonderful, loving Mother turned 90 years young this past Friday.
![]() ![]() ![]() This is the woman who took me in her arms and adopted me when I was only 3 months old, welcomed me into her heart and family and made me her own. Many, many times she told me that she couldn't love me more if she'd given birth to me herself. She has loved me all my life.....I mean, she has LOVED me!!! I've never, ever doubted that because she's never been short on kind loving words or her stalwart support of me, come what may. There have been only a very few things I've found throughout my life, that have always remained constant and the one thing at the top of that rather short list is my mother's love. No matter what I've done, good or bad....or horrible, my mother has always been there, helping me to figure things out for myself, and teaching me how to solve life's problems. I can honestly say that she never solved my problems for me, but she has been there every second of the rough times, teaching me how to solve problems for myself. I think that is the singlemost important gift that any wise parent can do for their child. Things have changed so much since my mother was a girl, growing up during the Great Depression and then parenting 2 children with our equally devoted father, whom she divorced in the early 70's. Mother and Pop had their differences, but they both loved us kids enough to put aside their differences and work together for our benefit. That's love. That's what good parents do and they did it for us. So, there's this one song that, ever since it was popular, has always reminded me of my Mother. It's Paul Simon's "Loves Me Like A Rock". I want to dedicate it to my beautiful Mother on her 90th birthday. This one's for you, Mom, because you've always been there and you've always loved me like a rock!!! ![]() ![]() Happy 90th Birthday!!!! ![]() Love you, ~Theo~ ![]() ![]()

BROKEN~Seether w/Amy Lee
I wanted you to know I love the the way you laugh I want to hold you high and steal your pain away I keep your your photograph And I know it serves me well I want to hold you high and steal your pain Because I'm broken when I'm lonesome And I don't feel right when you're gone away You've gone away, you don't feel me here anymore The worst is over now and we can breathe again I want to hold you high, you steal my pain away There is so much left to learn and no one left to fight I want to hold you high and steal your pain Because I'm broken when I'm open And I don't feel right when you're gone away You've gone away... You can't feel me here anymore. |
