lounging in my pjs all day, talking to a few friends on the phone, meeting a couple of new people and hearing her voice even though she was very busy, but she made time to call anyway. yay for sundays. I hope everyone has a wonderful monday and remember to smile

oh...and it's monday so treat yourself to an extra cup of coffee and 5 extra minutes in bed..hit the snooze, it's ok just this once.

What brought me joy today...

Spending the day with my mom yesterday ~ having lunch together (and sharing dessert) and helping her run errands. Sometimes life seems to get in the way of these times, so I find joy in the simple times with just her and I.

In the midst of all my worry about how to tell her I really like her, and not knowing when to bring it up in the midst of one of our crazy conversations, she told me that she has feelings "stronger than just the friendship kind" for me.

I didn't sleep a wink and the grin on my face tells exactly how happy I am to know this now. I didn't think she felt the same, and vice versa...neither one of us wanted to cross a line in our friendship. We think a lot alike...and we always laugh til we cry.

I can't wait to see her this weekend!

Stabbing myself in the eye with a hibiscus tree (no really)
Teasing a manager at work and then laughing until I literally cried when he took the bait. (I told him my last call at five til close was an issue that he KNEW took 2 hours to solve)
Making an impromptu coffee date just because
Getting some LucyLu love (okay that was last night, but still)

* seeing that beautiful red netflix envelope in the mailbox

* taking a nice, hot bath because it's freezing outside (yay for bubbles!)

* knowing that I have the best friends a boi could have and trying hard to let them know they're special

***bonus*** buying a computer cleaning kit that came with air duster, cleaning cloths and screen spray...my lappy thanked me (oooooooooooo so shiny!)

4.- planning the sound of future little pitter patters.

5.- Realizing that she is in it for keeps and not just for the fun times!

6.- Planning the flower garden in my head with a possible small fountain for her and the kiddo to enjoy!

Seeing the PTSD support group that we wanted to start here, actually come to fruition today. We had our planning meeting. Kind of got to know each other. And next week we will have our first official meeting. Once a day and time has been decided we will make the big announcement for those of you who want to join. Its going to be an awesome group.
