The Official Facebook Thread

I am so sporadic on facebook. I'll check it several times a day for a few days, and then nothing for a month or two.

This is going to sound so negative, and I don't mean it to, but one of the rants that keeps me on my soapbox the longest is the whole stupid "I'm mad at you, I'm unfriending you" BS that happens there... with adults, mind you. I could write a paragraph about this - it irks me so much - but I'll just say I really hate the drama breeding ground that facebook can be and the platform that allows grown-ups to behave like adolescents. But then again, the internet as a whole can be a breeding ground for passive-aggressive games, as much as I love the web and all of the wonderful connections it brings.

During the blizzard a couple of winters ago, I got hooked on Farmville, but I realized I had a problem when I began to drive home like a bat out of hell because my pattpan squash were about to wither! I had a rational moment and quit soon after!
