The bear just made pimento cheese (homemade!!) and I LIKED it! I was surprised... we will be having banana cake for dessert after chili!

OMG! I LOVE those, too, Talon! BEST one I ever had was in Gulfport,Fla. and second best one to that was at D.B. Pickles in Flagler Beach,FL...yummo. I first had one of these in Key West,FL....it was a Cuban Grinder...had all the regular cuban sammie stuff BUT also had finely shaved lettuce and finely sliced tomatoes.....and crusty cuban bread.
If you find one, let me know, too...smiles...

MBE...there is an item made here locally in Mt. Pleasant,SC..called Palmetto Cheese...OMG! Is it ever delish.....has cottage cheese,cream cheese, and bacon, and other things in the pimento cheese..there is a jalapeno version as well....my GF found it up in NC, too....

I hate the flavor of maple but chrissy brought over some fresh maple & cinnamon twists and I had a couple. VERY good with hot coffee!
