- waking up, hearing the birds singing in the trees, feeling the fresh air blowing in & whispering the words Good Morning Daddy with my hand on the commitment around my neck from Him, before climbing out of bed like i always do.. - Going for a run at the Nature Park today, and completing 6km, almost half of which was running.. New personal best, for only being day 3.. When i want something, i go for it.. *that* feels so awesome! - Agreeing to do my very first 5k on July 1st - i'm excited! Small steps to my dream goal of running a Marathon! - The growing success of the Weight Loss Support Group i started at work.. The material i share, the positive feedback i am getting and the motivation i get from it as well as the others. All of our plans, and the support & encouragement - i love it... Very proud of them all! - leaving sticky notes with positive messages on some random lockers today & making them smile, i love the feeling within that i get when i see some approach their locker, read the message & smile big. i can tell it's made a difference in their day, and it, in turn, makes my heart smile. - Plans, plans, PLANS to go see Daddy, SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON

what could've been a really disheartening, and devastating visit tonight wasn't..
i didnt break, and i didn't cry. so yeah, i'm smiling. good girl!  big smiling, and still hopeful- no radiation burns yet! plus, i got a line on some kickass lotion thats sposed to help with that!  also... i skyped for the first time. ha! it was fun.. i laughed big, and enjoyed the hell out of it. who knew?  big little things... i'll take it.

Okay, so this is petty and shallow....but it still made me smile.
The doorbell rang a bit ago....nice lady asking if she could leave me an Avon catalog and a sample. Sure thing.... She rummages in her bag for a minute and then says "I'm so sorry, I don't have any samples left of the moisturizer for you....I just have the night cream, but it's designed for the 50+ crowd like me." I smile and say "me too." She looked genuinely shocked...what a lovely compliment. I think my long-term moisturizer addiction is paying off.
