In the middle of all that was holy in that delivery room; the star of the show in intense pain, her support system/partner was coaching her along, the 5 staff on hand doing their job, my grandson singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star while watching the entire birthing process... My 77yo mother, the great-grandmother to this new life on her way, calls because she is "sensing something." She got to hear this angel being born over the phone!!
I swear... that woman has ALWAYS been able to stay in the know!!

when my 14yr old ....
..Catahoula/Airdale big dawg looked at the big walk in shower at home and made the decision to walk in. Im still fascinated about her doggy brain. It was only our second time doing that and she didnt want to but "loaded up" anyhow. Good dog!

My Joon dog, certain her shower was next..like last time, put her head down and closed her eyes when I walked into the room ...like faking sleep. I thought it was pretty cool since she could have gone out the dog door. She got a "pass" and I guess I got one too...

Finding just the right black and blue dress shirt to wear on Monday. It is not an easy color combination to find in just the right shade and balance. I went to five stores looking for it but I found it by God.
The shine in My leather Harley boots after I took the time to do a good clean and spit shine. I knew all the time in the military would come in handy some day. The thought that slipped by during all of this more then once 'boy being single sucks sometimes' I hate shopping for clothes!!

I took TT to the park today and he played on the swing for a bit, but was more fascinated by being in the stroller and flirting with everyone he saw. He especially loves throwing his teething ring on the ground so I have to stop and pick it up. On the last time, before I handed him the teething ring back, he looked up at me, eyes squinting against the sun and gave me the most amazing "I know I'm spoiled and you love it!' smile.
That made me smile. He woke up as I was writing this, crawled over and snuggled against me, closed his eyes and went back to sleep. Another smile.

Sebastian Inlet
A walk on the beach once a manatee was spotted going towards shore.two guys with a young child were oblivious to the manatee approximately 20 feet from it. Needless to say I did not get a close up of it, because it turned around and went into deeper waters. We spotted several manatees on the ocean side. A few of them were near the jetty We also spotted some sting rays they were swimming close to the rock along the jetty. Of course, we spotted a few pelicans eating. Spending the day with her.

A lot of things made me smile today here is a short list:
1. I get to see my baby Monday!!!!!!!!!!! 2. No work till next saturday 3. having the motivation to do the tihings i need to do prior to my baby getting here 4. Knowing I am loved and respected by someone I love and respect 5. Knowing cricket isnt seriously hurt or sick I could go on and on however I will let someone else have the floor now Yall have a great day and week |
