so very many projects to do around the house I don't even know where to start I keep getting sidetracked but I did manage to get the back yard done now finishing stripping paint or setting up the library putting our clothes in order hell HELP

*sigh* Just spent over $400 on clothes and shoes for The Boy. Actually dress clothes and dress shoes. It's not that I mind the spending so much, he's been long overdue, it's why I spent it. Usually we are fine buying from Goodwill and waiting to get stuff that will fit him. I've found some really good stuff. But he still needed shoes. Today the ex was txting me that Men's Wearhouse was having a good sale and that they had his sizes and that she was going to order him shoes. I didn't mind that. Then I get a text that she's found him some button downs she's going to get him. Then another that she's going to order him some pants and some cargo shorts (of which he has like 7). She's doing this to help, and I really understand that. But it kinda made me feel like what he has isn't good enough and it needs to be all this. I mean all he really needed were shoes. I understand this is my hangup. I'm just venting here. So to keep her from spending her money, I went and bought him dress shirts, slacks, shoes, and belts (oh yeah I forgot about the 6th or 7th text that was ordering belts LOL).

*sigh* Now I have to figure out which bills I'm going to put off until the first-of-the-month paycheck, since I barely have enough for groceries now. No bills will be late, I just hate waiting 'til days before they are due to pay them. Plus I planned to get my registration for the reunion with the 1st pay check. Guess that will wait til the mid-July paycheck. *sigh*

I just spent 2 hours straight watering everything in my yard..Espically the junk i planted along side the house that cost me $800.00..I really dont want to loose that..My motivation for watering..
Can i pay the water bill now before i take my long hot shower..??..

I know your pain. We've got a bad drought going here. I have to water to keep it from dying altogether. Yesterday I put the sprinkler out on the front lawn and stood watching out the window as our money trickled over the curb and down the gutter to the storm sewer. After about 5 minutes I sighed and got on the computer.

Shortly after that Andi called me from the dining room, "Honey would you come here a minute?" I got up and padded in there to find her looking out of that same window. "Look", she said as I walked up. She slid her arm around my waist and put her head on my chest.

I looked out the window to see about 15 assorted birds, the 2 neighborhood ducks, 5-6 squirrels, and the rabbit that has a nest under the bush on the side of the house running through, drinking, or just standing around in the sprinkler. I didn't feel so much like it was a waste of money after that.

to trade my vehicle and get another loan or to refinance, just hate dealing with loan companies and banks. one way or the other I think you get screwed. ackkk.

Can you find something that you can live with off of Craigslist? I'm determined to avoid car payments forever now if I can get away with it. I bought the convertible with cash last year. I like not having to deal with it.

That is a great story..I love that..
Money was not waisted after all..
Sometimes when i am out digging up the ground to plant flowers a robin always stops by walking in the freshly dug dirt looking for worms..When i find one i toss it her direction and she picks it up and takes off..A few minutes later she comes back..Looking in the dirt for another worm..I find another one and toss to her..Again she takes it..When she comes back for about the 4th time she stands there looking at me and not looking for herself..Waiting for me to toss her another worm..She gets kinda close and i think she would have taken it out of my hand if i handed it to her..That made me smile doing that for her..Kinda took the burden off her of "whats for dinner" and now i gotta go look for it..

That would be ideal ! I am trying to sell mine currently on craigslist, pay off the loan and have a little extra to get something that is paid. I used to be about upgrading and getting newer every few years but getting older I'm more conservative with my money and want to just get something paid off already that is reliable.

I hear ya. I'm more about spending money on other things now like vacations or just saving it for a rainy day. I haven't had a car payment in 15 years I'm not about to start that mess again. My neighbor just bought a brand new 2012 Porsche Cayenne. My first thought was "Are you out of your mind?"
