… we could do none of this without being connected to each other and to Spirit…

Today I am focusing my energy on diabetes and all the people surrounding it. I am sending out my energy, prayers, and positive thoughts to all researchers; may they finally find a cure or at least a better treatment. To all doctors may you have the knowledge and compassion to hear when you patients tell you that the treatment is worse then the illness. To all members of society may you realize that while it is not cancer it is just as important to have knowledge of and support for those suffering from it. To all that suffer from it whether Type 1 or Type 2 I send you healing energy so that you may endure the side affects of the pills, the pain of the needles, and the constant desire for a cure.

To all that see this I ask that you join your energy in whatever way you believe with mine and countless others to find a cure.

The simplicity of a single flame, to touch and send energy
still amazes me how a single flame can be felt around the globe.
Energy, and renewal to those who need it.

This is for the woman in Lincoln, NE who was brutally attacked in her own home yesterday by 3 men, simply because she's a lesbian. Were it not for the failed attempt at setting her house on fire (they created only a flash fire from the gasoline vapors that did not continue to burn), this candle would be burning in her memory.

But even though she escaped death, the scars from the cuts and the homophobic slurs that were carved into her body will be a painful reminder of a crime based on hate .... and fear.

All of the recent violence against lesbians recently is frightening; so this candle is also for other sisters' lives lost and shattered.

This poem from an unknown author was sent to me, thought I would share it here.

People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime.
When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person.
When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed.
They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support,
To aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are..
They are there for the reason you need them to be.
Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time,
This person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end.

Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away.
Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand.
What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done.
The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.

Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come to share, grow or learn.
They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh.
They may teach you something you have never done.
They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy.
Believe it, it is real. But only for a season.

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons,
Things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation.

Your job is to accept the lesson,
Love the person and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life
It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant
