you'd know that people who never fuck up make me suspicious.

you'd know it isn't perfection I admire in others, but progress in the right direction.

you wouldn't mistake my self-depracating humor (I was raised by Texans), for low self-esteem.

you'd know how much I value and seek out environments where I can be myself.

You'd know that I'm really good for blaming myself when any ties I have with someone proceed to go south.

You'd know that I tell myself that I really did know better, but I went ahead and did it anyway.

You'd know that I would say never again, even though what was right before me was the exact thing I had been waiting for.
