My cousin and best friend, Dawn, who has since died of lupus.

God, I miss her.

How often we went out and ended up getting so drunk and trying to eat breakfast at 3 in the morning.
It was part of the Saturday night rituals like cranking good rock n' roll and flying down the old Peetz highway on a summer night.

I miss you so much sweetheart,
and I'm thinking if only I could of had one more night to say goodbye.
